First of all, it is worth noting that the pole system that LEGITIMO uses for all surface cleaning is environmentally friendly, whereas the traditional method of cleaning generally involves detergents in the water, LEGITIMO only uses purified water, supplied by us. This water has no contaminants, which is better for environment, and ensures that your glass stays cleaner for longer.

The pole system can be used from the ground level up to a height of 70 feet (nearly 22 metres) ensuring greater privacy and no more problems reaching difficult to reach windows using ladders the old way.

Of course, the ‘hands on approach' is still needed inside, and for difficult to reach areas such as behind window bars. But we still will only use purified water with no detergents.

The Water Fed pole (WFP) with purified water uses a telescopic pole to apply de-ionized or de-mineralized water to a window from the ground, eliminating the need for ladders and dangerous work at height. 

The purified water, free of dissolved solids and impurities, leaves windows spot-free, streak-free, and cleaner for longer because there are no residues for dirt to stick to. This method is safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly than traditional methods, though traditional mop-and-squeegee techniques are still used for ground-level or interior windows. 

How Water Fed Pole (WFP) Cleaning Works 

Purified Water: Tap water is run through a water purification system to remove contaminants, leaving pure, de-ionized water. 

Telescopic Pole: The pure water is pumped through a hose to a brush attached to a long, telescopic pole.

Agitation: The brush is used to agitate and scrub dirt and grime off the glass surface. 

Rinse and Dry: The purified water then rinses the dirt away, drying quickly and spot-free without leaving any streaks or mineral deposits.
